Questions worth asking

• When was the bird hatched, and are dated records available?
• Can the seller show both sides, feet and natural movement on a live video?
• Has the bird shown illness recently, and what vaccination history exists?
• Are parents visible if the breed or family line affects the price?

About the Lakha Aseel claim

Lakha Aseel generally describes red or reddish-brown Aseel colour families in Pakistani keeper usage. It is better understood as a colour-associated line name than a guarantee of one uniform body type.

Evaluate even colour only after health and structure. Check feather quality, straight toes, stable gait, clean face and proportional body. Parentage is more informative than plumage alone.

Safe collection and introduction

Inspect before payment, agree collection or delivery terms in writing and use secure ventilated transport. Keep a new bird separate from your existing flock and ask a poultry veterinarian for a suitable quarantine and vaccination plan.
